Collaboration for the contribution to medical care for diabetes in Korea
- Partnership with Korean pharmaceutical company, LG Life Sciences Ltd. -

ARKRAY, Inc. concluded an exclusive contract with LG Life Sciences Ltd., a pharmaceutical company in the Republic of Korea (hereafter 'Korea'), to supply blood glucose meters in Korea. Through the partnership and collaboration with LG Life Sciences Ltd., which handles drugs for treatment of diabetes, we will expand our business to contribute to the medical care for diabetes in Korea.

We would like to announce that ARKRAY, Inc. (Head office: Nakagyo-ku Kyoto City, President & CEO: Takeshi Matsuda, hereafter 'ARKRAY') concluded an exclusive contract with LG Life Sciences Ltd. (Head office: Seoul, Korea, President & CEO: Jung Iljae, hereafter 'LGLS') to supply ARKRAY's blood glucose meter, GLUCOCARD X-METER and the dedicated sensor, X-SENSOR in Korea. Accordingly, LGLS will sell and distribute the GLUCOCARD X-METER and X-SENSOR throughout Korea.

The blood glucose meter GLUCOCARD X-METER is a product in ARKRAY's overseas brand of blood glucose meters, which is currently distributed to each country across the world. In addition to development and distribution of a drug for treatment of diabetes, Zemiglo, LGLS has also established solid infrastructure in the Korean diagnosis market including immunity and molecular diagnosis.

Through the collaboration with LGLS in accordance with the contract, ARKRAY shall strive to meet the needs of patients and medical service workers who seek higher-quality treatment for diabetes.
